PocketCPR

Designed a consumer product to aid the teaching of CPR to non-medical personnel.

Description

Problem

The company wanted a new product designed to measure the depth of compression in order to provide feedback while teaching CPR. The client had prototype electronics that needed to be modified with additional functions and packagaed in a new form factor.

Solution

BCA designed a printed circuit board (PCB) including break-away panel, which housed the necessary accelerometer (mounted vertically). We also designed a "puck" type enclosure, shown below. Both designs were approved by the customer.
